The APQ8055 was a chipset which did not have a cellular modem. The chipset was for a 1.4 Ghz Qualcomm Scorpion processor which was a single core processor. Much like other Snapdragon S2 processors it came with an Adreno 205 GPU as standard.
The was an ARMv7 processor with 333 Mhz of LPDDR2 SDRAM. There is a minimum processor speed of 1 Ghz to a maximum of 1.4 Ghz. The chipset has been used by Nokia in the Nokia 900 mobile phone. That uses a 1.4 Ghz Scorpion CPU. When looking at the chipset you will also note that it came with a Hexagon QDSP5 256MHz signal processor. The CPU has 512 Kbyte L2 with the GPU running at 266 MHz.
