Nokia 222
Much like other budget mobile phones the Nokia 222 comes only with 2G connectivity. This covers the GSM 900 / 1800 range. The phone was released in September 2015 as a basic mobile phone for the budget market. The Nokia 230 was released later but only added a secondary camera to the phone.
The budget mobile phone market normally comes in a small size such as this being in the 116 x 50 x 12.9 mm (4.57 x 1.97 x 0.51 in) range. It is also very light at only 79 g (2.79 oz) and comes with a mini-sim. The display much like other budget phones comes with a TFT, 65K colors display. The screen resolution of 240 x 320 pixels (~167 ppi pixel density) is also pretty standard.
There is also a microSD, up to 32 GB with a dedicated slot and 16MB of memory. There is only one camera on this phone being a 2MP phone and the video plays back at 240p@15fps. There is also a loudspeaker as well as a 3.5mm jack.
The Nokia 222 does not come with WiFi, this was left out however there is a Bluetooth connector as well as a stereo FM radio. There is also a micro USB v2.0 is also available. The mobile phone uses WAP and comes with the ability for SMS (threaded view), MMS as well as IM.
With a removable Li-Ion 1100 mAh battery the phone can be in standby for up to 696 h as it is very low spec and dos not drain the battery as quickly. The phone is new however the specs you would normally find on a phone released 5 years ago. Very basic with a clean design.
